Caroline E. Mauer passed away on December 21, 2011, in Mahopac, NY. Born on May 23, 1926, she was raised in Queens, NY, by her parents, Caroline and Arthur Mayer. An avid swimmer, she met her future husband Remy Mauer at a swimming pool. They married in NYC in 1952.
