Angelo P. Barbagallo of Poughquag, NY passed away on April 24, 2022 at the age of 53.  He was born on June 11, 1968 in the Bronx, son of the late Angelo and Arlene (neé Cousins) Barbagallo.  Angelo lived in Lake Mohegan, NY throughout his childhood and graduated from Lakeland High School in 1986.  On February 14, 1998 he married Andrea Wright at the Croton Falls Community Church in Croton Falls, NY.

Angelo worked for Metro-North for 33 years. The biggest heartbreak of his life was being a die hard Jets fan. His greatest joy in life was being a dad. He was a big fan of movies and loved basketball.

Angelo is survived by his loving wife Andrea, daughter Alexa, step-daughter Kathryn Hettinger and her husband Michael, step-son Christopher Irving, and grandsons Henry Hettinger and Brayden Irving.  He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Eugene.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Tuesday, April 26th from 4-8 PM at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at 11 AM at the Croton Falls Community Church in Croton Falls, NY.  A private cremation will follow with interment of ashes at Amawalk Cemetery at a later date.
