Arthur R. Teasdale, of Yorktown Heights, NY passed away Friday September 2, 2011. He was 92. He was born in the Bronx on November 5, 1918, the son of William and Mary Schoales Teasdale.Arthur served in the US Army during WWII. He was a retired supervisor for the postal service in Manhattan.In 1941 he married Elizabeth Laidley at Our Saviors Church in the Bronx. Mrs. Teasdale died on August 14, 1998. He is survived by his son, Russell Teasdale of Secaucus, NJ, his sister Marion Gilmore of Mahopac, NY and his nieces, Doreen Vought and Gail Conran.A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday September 3, 2011 at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac, NY with the Rev. Dennis Williams as celebrant. Entombment followed at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
