Difficult to put a lifetime relationship into a few words. Aunt Carmela was always there for me growing up. Because she was so close to my dad, that meant we were close as well. I could always talk to her and she always listened and tried to help. We always passed the time working at the store "chewing the rag". Living next door, I would go over and visit a lot and she always asked if I needed anything and never turned me away. Aunt Carmela played a major part in the first 40 years of my life and she could always be counted on. The last few times we were together at the shore she was the center of attention with her grandkids and we shared many laughs. Aunt Carmela is on my personal Mount Rushmore, right next to my dad, for having a positive impact on my life. I love her and I will miss her. Rest In Peace.
