Jim Anderson left a message on September 16, 2014:
We all will remember Uncle Dario as a person who loved not only life but making people laugh. My earliest memory of him is when we would visit with my god parents (Aunt Angie and Uncle Dario) and I would look forward to hearing him make a joke. Sometimes it was about my dad, but only uncle Dario would be able to make light of his thin frame and how, if he gave my dad change for a dollar (in quarters), in would double his weight!Another of course, was looking forward to seeing him at the Throgs Neck Little League parade dressed as a clown. Some how I was not embarrassed to say that clown was my uncle, but I was so proud of him for making others laugh. The gates of heaven will surely welcome you uncle with open arms as I am sure they could use a laugh also. Until we meet again. Say hello to Aunt Angie as I know you are by her side also. She probably will need a few more jokes as she has been waiting for you for some time now. She might ask you how come you took so long to get Dario?
