Frank Bartolomeo

Frank Bartolomeo passed away Sunday January 6 at his home surrounded by his family. Born April 18, 1966 in Bronx, NY, Frank is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Alyce, his son Mitchell, daughter Allyson, and Boston terrier Bentley, all of Florida. He is also survived by his parents Richard and Rosemarie Bartolomeo of Mahopac, NY, his sister Katherine Avitabile, his nieces Helen Avitabile and Samantha Vondrak, his nephew Andrew Avitabile and several cousins. He is predeceased by his brother Richard Bartolomeo.Frank was a high-energy, fun-loving family man and friend as well as a successful entrepreneur and lawyer. A Mahopac High school and Mercy College graduate, he established a successful electrical contracting business in Mahopac that is still in operation. He also was a home builder, and it was partly his frustration over the costly regulations and legal fees he had to incur in this business that led him to pursue his law degree in 2005. He moved his family to Winter Park, Florida, graduated from Barry University School of Law in 2007 and established his own law firm. Frank was a Rotary member and was also on The Baldwin Park Residential owner's board. He was also a board member of the Stratford condo association. In his spare time Frank liked to hike, bicycle, play poker and help others.A memorial visitation will be held at the Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY on Saturday January 12th from 9 am to 11 am where funeral services will be held at 11 am.
