My condolences to the family - I just learned of Frank's passing yesterday and was very saddened to hear this news. Over the years, as a native of Mahopac, I have had work done at Ridgeview and had gotten to know Frank. He was always friendly, most helpful and did excellent work for my dad and I. He was especially proud of his son Frank and his service to our country. I salute Frank for his service to our nation in military service, for his contributions in our community and for his friendship.

As so many others have already conveyed .... Frank was a extremely, kind caring, honest man who had the unique quality of making everyone he dealt with feel very special indeed. His love of this Country was without limits as evidenced by his military service as a Marine in Viet Nam. As he told me when he learned of his illness ..... I made peace with my Maker when first setting foot on the soil of Viet Nam so I am already at peace. What a very brave human being. We are all truly blessed for Frank passing through our lives. For Frank ...........-When Someone Great Once Was .... Someone Great Will Always Be ....- Some Few People Touch Our Lives Gently, Sweetly, Profoundly and Forever. Treasure The Memories With Gratitude and Go On To Live Your Life Reaching Out and Touching Others ..... As Frank Has Done For All He Met.- Until we meet again, my friend ............Sincerely .......... Walter R. Pearce

As I sit hear with a so very heavy heart after reading all the tributes to Frank, I find myself realizing as so many others have stated about this wonderful man, father, grand-father and friend… to so many – deeply touched so many lives. If you were privileged to have had even one person like Frank touch your life, you were truly blessed.I met Frank roughly 20 years ago, I was selling a car, it needed some TLC and stopped into Ridgeview – “NO PROBLEM” he said – went to pick up the car – he would not take a dime! Insistent was he – so I sent over lunch instead for the guys. Never did I realize that day that I had befriended such a Huge Personality! After a few visits to Ridgeview for work on our cars over the years, I found myself just stopping in to have a “healthy debate” with Frank over many current events issues. He was so very passionate about what we discussed – a quick stop in to say hello became an hour plus of great debate! – But I was not the only one – there were others like me that loved to “chat” and enjoy his company. The office filled with “fans” like me each time I happened by.Then, after many years, my son Luke decided that he too was going to become a United States Marine and serve his country – I went to Frank frantic, he met and spoke with Luke about the Marines - Frank with his infinite wisdom truly became a confident to me – his experience with the same guided me through a mother’s nightmare, and I will always be grateful for his kindness, advice & friendship. He calmed me down, PROUDLY placed Marine stickers on my car, he made me realize I too should be proud of my son, not just be a worried mother. He is the man that all of us would want to have our back in any situation.A Great Friend, A True Patriot, A Passionate Family Man … that left us all to soon. Frank-Thank You for your friendship – We will miss you so!To Frank’s entire family – I wish you peace at this time. But know that he is for sure in Heaven! Bless you all.Semper Fi

A few years ahead of me, Frank was one of the first guys I met when our family moved to Mahopac. He was one of the really good guys..honest and kind with a generous laugh... I prayed for his safe return from Vietnam and had the gift of time alone together in early 70's..He turned me on to headphones and Harleys and till today, hearing anything from Dark Side of the Moon brings me right to a shared moment as we gazed at the stars and understood just how precious and fleeting it all is..Rest in Peace Frankie..My heartfelt condolences to his Family and dear friends..

Frank was a great neighbor and generous person. I remember him working with my husband at teakettle pool, and also a time I got stuck in my driveway with my three kids in the car. Frank happened by, stopped and went back to get his truck to help me out, without a thought for remuneration! I am so sad that I did not know Frank had died before this. I would have liked to pay my respects for him and his family. Prayers for all.

Frank made me feel so much better about getting in my car accident. Although we only met a few times, his story of his brother and how he helps the community touched my heart. From the few times meeting him, I could tell that Frank was an honest, gentile, kind man. He will never be forgotten. -The McGowan Family

Frankie and I were life friends we hung out and discovered the many unknown areas of Mahopac when we were kids. One of the stories that he loved to tell when ever he saw me was breaking the ice on the pond in back of his house and him pulling me out of the mud as the ice disappeared from under me. As teens I had Mahopac Auto Glass behind Ridge View and shared many years of friendship. Every time I would visit Mahopac I would always make the effort to stop and visit. As all of you we will miss him but we will always remember him and love him for the man he was. My deepest condolences to all the people that Frankie has touched during his life..

We were so sad to learn about the passing of a true gentlemen and a kind friend. We met Frank after our family truck was involved in a bad accident and we found ourselves as many of Franks"s customers ,dealing with a lot of stress, without a vechicle and lots of paperwork to be completed. He took us through the process, step by step and from that day on he was the man...the man to go to whenever we needed the fantastic services he provided. A true people-person, Frank was number one! Our thaughts and prayers are with him and his family at this sad time.

Frank was one of the best people I have ever met. He was always so funny and didn't mind laughing at himself. I'll miss busting his chops about the way he would stop mid sentence to answer his phone and say "Ridgeview", in his serious voice. Frank was always there for me no matter what it was that I needed, he was the best! My heart goes out to Ginger and the Horvath family, I am so sorry for your loss. I'll miss you Frankie!

I have so many great memories with Frankie,Roger and Pop and and knowing them has made me a better person. Frankie gave me my first place to live when I moved out of my parents house and made it very affordable for me to get started on my own, not to mention years of working on my race car in the shop late night with Roger and the boy's. He was truly a generous man and I learned a lot about life from him. He scraped plenty of my jalopies off the roads over the years in rain, snow and it did not matter. He was a guy who could do anything and do it to perfection. I will miss you buddy. Rest in peace. God bless the Horvath family.Ronnie & Holly Cammarata

So sorry to hear about your passing. I feel so lucky to have known you. You were one of my favorite patients,in your least favorite place...the dentist. I will miss you and the safe feeling I had with your phone number in my pocket. You gave it to me when I said I sometimes was afraid of driving in the dark with black ice and snow. You said "call me anytime day or night I'll come and get you."Never needed to, but I bet you'd be there if I did. Rest in peace Frankie....I will miss you.

Dear Ginger and family, I am so sorry for the loss of Frank. I have so many happy memories of Frank. He was a great friend to me and helped me out so many times I can't count. We spent many a coffee break (for me) together while he handled calls at the desk and ran the best Auto Body Shop in town! He was my comedy relief, and I hope I was his. Mostly he liked to talk about his family that he was so proud of. It was never a secret how much he loved his family and his country! He was special, and he will be missed by many, near and far.

Being a lifelong resident of Mahopac I had the pleasure of knowing Frank through the years with business dealings. A few months ago I got to spend some quality time with him. He is someone that touched my life in so many ways. His kindness for those around him and his love for people, especially his family was admirable. In just a few short days with Frank I learned how precious life is and that you need to live every moment as if it is your last. He was such an inspiration to me.
