Jane Elizabeth Porcelli

Jane Elizabeth Porcelli, of Mahopac, NY passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday August 4, 2011. She was 70. She was born on November 24, 1940 in Patterson, NY, the daughter of Emerson Buckingham Smith and Evelyn “Hon” Smith.Jane retired in 2003 from Putnam County where she worked in the environmental health department.On August 6, 1966 she married Michael A. Porcelli, who resides at their home in Mahopac. She is also survived by her sons Eugene Brandon and his wife Donna, Joseph Porcelli and Michael Porcelli, her daughters Brenda Witter and her husband Scott, Paula Lippelman and Jeanette Snizek, her brother Thomas Smith and his wife Sis, her sister Marilyn Norton, 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Carl Norton.Visiting will be held at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home on Sunday August 7, 2011 from 2-6 pm.
