Karen I. Butcher, of Mahopac, NY, passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age 70. She was born on February 17, 1953 in Bayshore, NY; daughter of the late Russell and Doris (neé Gager) Willmont.

Karen loved her grandchildren unconditionally and loved spending time with them and caring for them when they were younger. She also loved her dog, cats, and any other critter that showed up in the yard or on the back deck.

Karen is survived by her husband Harry, son Harry III, son David and his wife Faith, her sister Debbie Pilla husband Steven, grandchildren Connor, Elizabeth, Josie, Noah, and Greg, as well as her three nieces, two nephews and her sister-in-law Joan Sabanos and her husband Richard. Karen is predeceased by her brother Robert.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26^th from 2-6 PM at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac, NY. Prayers and eulogies will be said at 5:45 PM. A private cremation will follow.
