Rob, you taught me so much. Most importantly, you taught me how to enjoy life. Enjoy cooking. Enjoy eating. Enjoy hours of heated debates. Enjoy fishing (even when the only thing i cought was a bird), enjoy growing fruits and vegetables, enjoy passed down secret gardening tips from your father, enjoy the small moments, enjoy terrible movies and so many other joys i will never forget. I may not be blood but i certainly felt like family

Eric Binder left a message on September 17, 2014:
I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of the person who got me started playing drums, Mr. Morelli. Not only did he first get me started playing drum set but he also brought me to my first show down in NYC at The Bitter End. That was back in middle school and here I am today working through my Doctorate in music. I also still have and currently use the innovative drum sticks he made. Although the years had gotten between us, I was so happy to see him this past May. He was so interested and enthused with what I have accomplished and eager to hear of my plans for the future. When I last saw him he told me of the importance of being who you are as a musician and to just do you. I will continue to do just that…As I move forward in my career as a musician and music educator I will always keep thoughts of Mr. Morelli close to me. When I last saw Mr. Morelli in May, I told him of a CD that I was recording that was going to be my first release of my original music. He told me he wanted to hear it as soon as possible. I wish I could have completed it sooner for him to hear but this CD will be released in dedication to him. My heart goes out to the Morelli Family.

Dear Colleen, Carol and Barbara,I am so deeply saddened to hear the passing of Robert. I will cherish my memories I have of him, especially his smile and being happy. I always called him my rock star drummer. We had a lot of fun when we were kids. I pray you find solace in your memories of him and know he is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
